Our Story

Tunaweza Innovation Hub was born from a powerful collaboration between Don Bosco VTC Bombo, SINA (Social Innovation Academy), and Don Bosco Mondo e.V. This partnership was rooted in a shared vision: to empower young people to become changemakers through innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship.

In June 2023, three alumni youth were selected to embark on a transformative journey. Their mission: to immerse themselves in the SINA replication model in Mpigi, where the original SINA concepts were pioneered and successfully replicated. This one-year experience equipped them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to bring the SINA model to life in their own community.

Exactly one year later, in June 2024, these dedicated youth returned to Bombo—full of vision, experience, and purpose. With the support of the founding partners, they officially launched Tunaweza Innovation Hub.

Today, Tunaweza stands as a space where young minds are nurtured, ideas are transformed into impact-driven ventures, and communities are empowered through social innovation.
